# Where Will You Spend Your Summer Vacation? An AP-GfK Poll

**The recession has changed Americans' travel plans. This article shows poll results from an AP-GfK survey about summer vacations.**

According to the AP-GfK Poll conducted between April 16-20, 2009, most Americans are not planning a summer vacation this year. Why? It's not surprising that finances are the most commonly cited reason why most will be staying home this year.
